About Netblock Notes
Netblock Notes is a small editorial site about one practical question: what can you honestly learn from an IP address? We write for developers, analysts, security teams and curious site owners, and we try to be specific about limits as well as capabilities. Articles cite primary documentation such as RFCs and registry pages where we can, and we mark vendor-published figures as vendor claims. We use the BusinessMCP free reverse IP lookup tool in several examples because its documentation is public and its behaviour is easy to check, and we discuss alternatives alongside it. Nothing here is legal or security advice.
